It’s always exciting going somewhere new. Continue reading
After a while the crispy fall air had bitten hard into my bare hands and I jumped into the Laurel for a quick reheat. Meanwhile some of the newer guys had a veteran show them the course before everyone set out to drift. Mind you, there were already people drifting. The screams of burning tires was reverberating through the steep mountains and I could see the flickering of headlights amongst the foliage above us. It was pretty cool. Continue reading
A friend of many people and local visitor of the touge had set up a small event for a handful of people to attend. Mainly to gather friends and have a blast before the un-drivable snow covered roads of winter came. However, this event also marked his last day or night on the mountains with a specific car.

A few weeks back, in between preparing for final exams and speeches, I slipped out of my room and hopped on a train bound for Chiba. There was a typhoon rolling in and I was delayed but it didn’t matter. Here is part 1 of the journey that I ran through trying not to get wet out at Minami Chiba. This time I didn’t have much to say and felt it better to let the pictures explain.
Back on the 27th, well let’s start on the 26th. A Friday, long after school had ended I was back at home twiddling my thumbs and dilly dallying on the internet, wasting time, and in spite of the excitement waiting for me just around the corner on the weekend I still hadn’t gathered my tools and dropped them into a bag.
Fun from back on the one of the last days of 2012. Hope you enjoy the short clip. Wish I had more footage to play with but I think this captures how much of an awesome day it was!
