A friend of many people and local visitor of the touge had set up a small event for a handful of people to attend. Mainly to gather friends and have a blast before the un-drivable snow covered roads of winter came. However, this event also marked his last day or night on the mountains with a specific car.
That car, a big body sedan, a Crown, and with various splashes of personal touches, lately had became quite popular on the internet and in magazines.
A few weeks back, in between preparing for final exams and speeches, I slipped out of my room and hopped on a train bound for Chiba. There was a typhoon rolling in and I was delayed but it didn’t matter. Here is part 1 of the journey that I ran through trying not to get wet out at Minami Chiba. This time I didn’t have much to say and felt it better to let the pictures explain.
Thanks again to the guys at Mobara for putting on a good show and keeping smiles on their faces during that cold ass winter day.
After the adventures of the night before, covered in the recent post Adventures of Carboys Circuit Soul, HighTopFade and I traveled around northern Chiba area in search for cool parts and good times. While I can’t disclose any of our secret singing sessions just quite yet, the day after we traveled to Mobara Circuit to watch the guys from Sexy Knights and their friends drift. Alex from CircuitSoul was very busy with all his business stuff and working out plans with the other teams so letting him do his thing I had my own adventure meeting the guys from Team Fanta. This is really just a small portion of what happened. The day was so full of great moments and people. I’m glad I had the chance to meet them and look forward to seeing them drift again. Team Fanta! Enjoy the content, thanks for reading!
I’ve been meeting a bunch of new people in Japan and recently met a guy from San Diego who lives in Japan. He asked me if I wanted to go out the other weekend. It was a blast.
Took the train down to Kanazawa Bunko, met up with them, and headed to Ouji in their old Range Rover.
